Following brief glimpses of battle and travel sequences, we see Rocket and Rhodey teaming up for a fight. Rhodey has a new suit, one that's significantly bulkier than the armor he's used in the past. Rocket seems to be sporting a new outfit as well, complete with a set of matching goggles.
The environment around them is dark and difficult to see. They could be anywhere, fighting anything. Whatever they're doing there, they may not be doing it for very long considering the Russo brothers' claim that the marketing will only use the first twenty minutes of the film.
After a rapid montage of vague action clips, we see the Avengers united once again. Cap is leading them, followed by Ant-Man and Nebula, War Machine and Hawkeye and, finally, Black Widow and Tony Stark, effectively squashing any theories about Tony meeting his end in space.
The clip also showcases the Avengers in all-new uniforms. Several theories out there postulate that these suits will be used for entering the Quantum Realm, and through it, travel through time itself. There has been a lot of speculation surrounding the new uniforms, much which stems from action figures and LEGO sets. While the Russo brothers have stated that 99 percent of toy leaks are fake, it appears that some of them were spot on.
There are two members of the Avengers missing in that slow motion march, but the trailer hasn't forgotten them.
In the final clip of the trailer, we see Captain Marvel out of uniform. Thor approaches her and stretches his hand out as he summons his hammer, Stormbreaker. The weapon hurtles through the air, right past Carol's head and into the god of thunder's grasp, but the intergalactic hero doesn't flinch, she just smirks. Thor notices and says to everyone around them -- Natasha and Rhodey -- "I like this one." There are plenty of characters fans are eager to see unite and the moment in which the two strongest Avengers meet is definitely one of them.
Despite the fact that virtually everyone knew that Captain Marvel would appear in Avengers: Endgame, the character was absent from past trailers, in fact, it's entirely possible that she was edited out of trailer clips for the sake of secrecy. Now that her solo film, Captain Marvel, has been released, we're likely to see her more and more in marketing for the upcoming Avengers: Endgame.
