Marvel Studios has announced the sale of tickets for Avengers: Endgame in fine fashion, with the release of a mew mini-trailer that's not only packed with new footage, but also assembles Earth's Mightiest Heroes, and brings back Thanos.

Given the veil of secrecy surrounding the highly anticipated sequel to Infinity War, this trailer leans (comparatively) heavily into plot points, showing the remaining heroes aboard the Guardians of the Galaxy's ship, the Benatar, taking the fight in space to the Mad Titan. We're also shown Tony Stark's reunion with Pepper Potts, and what certainly appears to be confirmation of time travel.

The most obvious evidence of that is the brief exchange between Tony Stark and Captain America during what looks to be the Battle of New York, from 2012's The Avengers. Leaked set photos last year suggested Endgame might include such a scene, igniting endless fan theories about how time travel plays into the big gambit to save the universe from Mad Titan's scheme.

But the sequence featuring Thanos may very well take place on desolate Titan, amid the wreckage of the crashed Q-Ship, site of Iron Man's defeat in Avengers: Infinity War. Although it may be misdirection, the antagonist's voiceover dialogue would seem to add credence to that: "You cannot live with your own failure. Where did that bring you? Back to me."

Directed by Anthony and Joe Russo, Avengers: Endgame stars Robert Downey Jr., Chris Evans, Mark Ruffalo, Chris Hemsworth, Scarlett Johansson, Jeremy Renner, Don Cheadle, Paul Rudd, Brie Larson, Karen Gillan, Danai Gurira, Benedict Wong, Jon Favreau and Bradley Cooper, with Gwyneth Paltrow and Josh Brolin. The film arrives April 26.
