Avengers: Endgame, the highly anticipated conclusion to the "Infinity Saga," is exactly one month away from hitting theaters, and to mark the occasion, a number of character posters have been released by Marvel. Each one features a different character -- either in color or black-and-white, depending on whether they were affected by the Decimation -- and bears the tagline "Avenge the Fallen," with the exception of just one character.

That honor belongs to Infinity War villain Thanos. Now, however, a poster puts his helmet on top of a wooden pole, likely one of the poles comprising the Mad Titan's crude scarecrow, since we can see the stretch of hills from Thanos' unidentified retreat, soaked in the light of the sunset. Unlike the official Marvel posters, this image is not accompanied by a tagline.

While the helmet appears in Infinity War, Thanos is only seen wearing it a couple of times, eventually shedding it when he confronts the Avengers. It is unclear if Thanos will don his armor again in Endgame; however, given that Earth's mightiest heroes will be out to get him, he's definitely going to need it.

Directed by Anthony and Joe Russo, Avengers: Endgame stars Robert Downey Jr., Chris Evans, Mark Ruffalo, Chris Hemsworth, Scarlett Johansson, Jeremy Renner, Don Cheadle, Paul Rudd, Brie Larson, Karen Gillan, Danai Gurira, Benedict Wong, Jon Favreau and Bradley Cooper, with Gwyneth Paltrow and Josh Brolin. The film arrives April 26.
