Marvel Studios has released yet another Avengers: Endgame poster as the 10-day countdown to the film's global premiere continues.The piece, from artist Kaz Oomori, features all six of the original Avengers wielding their signature weapons. Thor's rocking his axe, Captain America's in action with his iconic shield while Iron Man's just about ready to blast some repulsor rays.We also see Hulk getting ready to smash, Black Widow battle-ready with her short staffs and, of course, Hawkeye taking aim with his bow and arrow. Thanos with an Infinite Gauntlet filled with all six Infinity Stones ominously lurks in the background, however, which foreshadows another crisis on the horizon.
The minimalist artwork clearly hypes the showdown to come between the first batch of Earth's Mightiest Heroes and the Mad Titan himself, as the fate of the galaxy hinges on them course-correcting his snap from Infinity War.
As the culmination of over a decade of cinematic storytelling, Endgame is expected to serve as an ending to the original six Avengers' character arcs, while paving the way for the next generation of the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
Directed by Anthony and Joe Russo, Avengers: Endgame stars Robert Downey Jr., Chris Evans, Mark Ruffalo, Chris Hemsworth, Scarlett Johansson, Jeremy Renner, Don Cheadle, Paul Rudd, Brie Larson, Karen Gillan, Danai Gurira, Benedict Wong, Jon Favreau and Bradley Cooper, with Gwyneth Paltrow and Josh Brolin. The film arrives April 26.
