Avengers: Endgame Statue Offers Detailed Look at Thanos' New Weapon

Fans now have a more detailed look at the double-edged blade Thanos will be rocking in Avengers: Endgame, courtesy of a new action figure.

The Sideshow Collectibles item depicts the Mad Titan leaping off a rock with the blade in hand, and it truly sculpts an intimidating weapon. We can see the tips of both ends of the twin-blade are very sharp, with the edges slightly serrated. We also have a closer look at the central hilt, although the images don't show if it can separate and provide the villain with two swords.

When fans first got wind of Thanos' new weapon, many began speculating as to why he'd need one, and whether or not he still had the power of the Infinity Gauntlet. Some theories even suggest this could be Thanos in a different time period.

But from this statue, it's very clear the Mad Titan is going to be cutting as lethal a figure as any, and when he meets Earth's Mightiest Heroes in a rematch, this blade is designed to spill blood.

Directed by Anthony and Joe Russo, Avengers: Endgame stars Robert Downey Jr., Chris Evans, Mark Ruffalo, Chris Hemsworth, Scarlett Johansson, Jeremy Renner, Don Cheadle, Paul Rudd, Brie Larson, Karen Gillan, Danai Gurira, Benedict Wong, Jon Favreau and Bradley Cooper, with Gwyneth Paltrow and Josh Brolin. The film arrives April 26.
