WARNING: The following article contains potential spoilers for Avengers: Endgame, in theaters on April 26.
While the footage itself has not leaked online, shareholder Scott Ladewig described the Endgame footage in a lengthy thread on his Twitter account. The scene description has not been verified officially but does tease an interesting sequence from the film.
The Avengers Endgame scene they showed was at Avengers HQ, Captain Marvel saying let's go kill Tanos. Nebula says she knows where he is. Rocket says biggest energy surge ever seen on Earth when he used the glove, but it was seen again on another planet shortly after.— Scott Ladewig (@Ladewig) March 7, 2019
In the scene, the surviving Avengers plus Captain Marvel have regrouped at the team's headquarters in upstate New York. After Rocket Raccoon tracks Thanos' energy signature to a distant planet, the team blasts off into deep space to kill the Mad Titan once and for all.
Interestingly, the scene description mentions Nebula but not Tony Stark or Scott Lang, with their whereabouts during the rumored sequence currently unknown. With a little over a month until Endgame opens in theaters everywhere, audiences will soon see how much of this footage actually makes it to the final film.
Directed by Joe and Anthony Russo, Avengers: Endgame stars Robert Downey Jr., Josh Brolin, Mark Ruffalo, Tom Hiddleston, Chris Evans, Chris Hemsworth, Jeremy Renner, Chris Pratt, Elizabeth Olsen, Chadwick Boseman, Sebastian Stan, Benedict Cumberbatch, Paul Bettany, Samuel L. Jackson, Cobie Smulders, Benedict Wong, Zoe Saldana, Karen Gillan, Vin Diesel, Dave Bautista, Pom Klementieff, Scarlett Johansson, Tom Holland and Anthony Mackie. The film arrives April 26.
