WARNING: This article contains minor spoilers for Avengers: Endgame, out in theaters this Friday, April 26.

Judging by its early reactions and reviews, Avengers: Endgame will be as epic as its runtime. At three hours in length, the film outpaces even Infinity War by a whopping 22 minutes. This Thanos-sized runtime has left some fans concerned about their ability to last without a trip to the restroom. Fortunately, CBR got to see the film early and we have you covered. Here are some of the best moments during the film to run out and take a bathroom break.

Of course, due to the nature of this article, there will be some minor Endgame spoilers here. We have taken care not to reveal any major plot points, but continue reading at your own risk.

Unfortunately, if you're looking to run to the washroom, the first half is your best bet. So long as you can hold it past the first 15 or so minutes, you'll have several opportunities to duck out. For one, the scene from the first trailer where Captain America oversees a group therapy session is just long enough to make it to the bathroom and back. While this sequence sets the stage for the devastation wreaked by the Decimation, it isn't majorly important to the rest of the film. What's more, Cap brings it up in conversation later, dissecting the moment and explaining its relevance. Once the camera cuts to a gym awash in a dark filter, make a run for it.

Bruce Banner's reintroduction is also a good break point. When Ant-Man, Cap and Black Widow meet Bruce at a diner, he provides a little update about where he has been and his new status quo. Though this explains his unique, new situation, it isn't otherwise relevant to the plot, even if the scene does include a good joke or two.

A quiet conversation between Pepper Potts and Tony Stark also serves as a good bathroom break moment. Yes, it's a wonderful little character moment for both of them, and it lays the groundwork for Tony's next major course of action, but if you've got to go, you've got to go. Just make this one fast, because a moment fans have been waiting for takes place not too long after this.

Additionally, just about any scene with Thor in it is skippable. Most of Thor's appearances are played for laughs. Though they serve to move him from Point A to Point B and show his ability (or lack thereof) to deal with failure, they simply don't matter much in the long run. Thor fans may want to stick around for these, but his scenes are of no real consequence to the plot until the real mission gets underway.

When the film cuts to Ronin's introduction, you should have some time for a trip to the restroom as well. This starts out as an action sequence and continues for several moments before it gets to the plot-relevant stuff. If you're a fan of fight sequences, you may want to stay in your seat for this one, but it exists solely to show you how brutal Hawkeye has become since the Snap.

Your chances of a bathroom break drop off around here. Once the mission is underway, the importance of each scene continues to increase until the major bash of a final fight, which contains so many major moments that you'll be rooted to your seat anyway. Plus, the final scenes send off some core characters and change the status quo in major ways, so it is vital you stick around for these.

If you absolutely must go to the bathroom during the second half, we're going to have to get a bit more spoilery. Consider this your last warning to look away before we start talking about...

Time travel. Yup, all those theories about the Avengers traveling to major moments in their own pasts were correct, and you'll run into a few scenes you'll be familiar with as a fan of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. That being said, you might find time for a bathroom break during these scenes, though you'll miss out on some epic moments and hilarious jokes if you do. However, some of these scenes are more important than others.

For instance, stay in your seats for all of the Battle of New York sequences. Some critical moments happen here, including a few that may impact that future of the MCU. What's more, they include a scene that explains the rules of time travel and a wild fight you won't want to miss. Likewise, the scenes that take place on Vormir are pivotal; this is a not-to-be-missed scene for reasons too spoilery to mention here.

However, feel free to check out for a moment after the team encounters Star-Lord in the past. Sure, there's a good subversion of expectations here, but it's mostly a rehash of a fan-favorite Guardians of the Galaxy scene. Make sure you wait until Star-Lord appears, though, because a crucial scene takes place just ahead of his past self's arrival.

Finally, if you've got to go, do it during the first part of the Asgard-based scenes. The second part contains a defining character moment that directly influences one Avenger's choice at the end of the film. Plus, a bit that seems like a joke ends up leading to one of the best moments of the entire film, so it's worth sticking around for that setup.

Once the Avengers return to their proper time, the film enters its endgame (ha!). However, there are enough moments to take a bathroom break before this point, so you won't have to take Paul Rudd up on his suggestion to use your popcorn bucket in creative ways. Good luck, Avengers fans!
