Less than a week ago, Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige confirmed that Avengers: Endgame would be returning to theaters with bonus footage. While details about the June 28 re-release are still somewhat vague, fans are able to secure tickets to the movie's highly anticipated return as soon as today.
According to CNBC, B&B Theaters and the United Kingdom's Cineworld began selling tickets for the Avengers: Endgame re-release on Monday night, and AMC will start selling tickets today, June 25.
When he announced the re-release during several red carpet interviews for Spider-Man: Far From Home, Feige explained it isn't technically an extended cut. "There will be a version going into theaters with a bit of a marketing push with a few new things at the end of the movie," he confirmed at the time. "If you stay and watch the movie, after the credits, there’ll be a deleted scene, a little tribute, and a few surprises. Which will be next weekend."
Directed by Joe and Anthony Russo, Avengers: Endgame stars Robert Downey Jr. as Iron Man, Chris Evans as Captain America, Mark Ruffalo as Bruce Banner, Chris Hemsworth as Thor, Scarlett Johansson as Black Widow, Jeremy Renner as Hawkeye, Brie Larson as Captain Marvel, Paul Rudd as Ant-Man, Don Cheadle as War Machine, Karen Gillan as Nebula, Danai Gurira as Okoye and Bradley Cooper as Rocket, with Gwyneth Paltrow Pepper Potts, Jon Favreau as Happy Hogan, Benedict Wong as Wong, Tessa Thompson as Valkyrie and Josh Brolin as Thanos. The film is in theaters now, and will soon receive a re-release featuring several new after-credits scenes and a special tribute to the late Stan Lee.
