WARNING: The following article contains spoilers for Avengers: Endgame, in theaters now.

The female superheroes of the Marvel Cinematic Universe had a moment of glory in Avengers: Endgame, assembling as a team of their own led by Brie Larson's Captain Marvel. The women who played them, it seems, had a chance to come together as well -- for lunch during the movie's production.

Robert Downey Jr., whose role as Tony Stark was as pivotal to Endgame as it was to the MCU as a whole, posted two photos on Instagram showing the lunch he held for his female co-stars. Downey himself is in one of the pictures, holding out his phone over the table; the other one appears to be one of the photos he was taking.

In his post, he included the description, "#tbt #throwback #flashback to the #Women of @marvelstudios #mcu lunch I had the pleasure of hosting... #girlpower #epic #bts (📸 @jimmy_rich ) #TeamStark #thankyou," covering his appreciation for not only the women in the photos but the photographer, the overall epic fanfare of Marvel's movies and his own part in them.

Featured in the photos with Downey are Brie Larson, Karen Gillan, Danai Gurira, Gwyneth Paltrow, Letitia Wright, Pom Klementieff, Zoe Saldana, Evangeline Lilly and Elizabeth Olsen. Since many of the actors are in costume and makeup, it's likely the lunch took place around the filming of the iconic scene from the third act of the film, in which they all appeared together in a memorable shot.
