Avengers: Endgame may have a Spider-Gwen Easter egg.

As spotted by an eagle-eyed Redditor, an extra that appears towards the end of the film appears to be dressed in Spider-Gwen colors. According to the screencap, she appears 2 hours and 35 minutes into the film, during the scene where Peter Parker reunites with his best friend Ganke Lee.

The extra, who walks by the two Spider-Man characters on the left, sports a blue denim jacket, a light pink backpack and a black skirt with a webbed pattern. Her blonde hair is pulled to the side, in the semblance of an under-shave like Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse's version of the character.

Of course, this could be a coincidence, but every choice that goes into a film is deliberate. It is likely a costume designer's clever wink at the popular Spider-Man character, especially considering the extra appears during an emotional Spider-Man moment. However, there's no indication that this is a hint of things to come; for now, it's safe to assume this is just a fun little nod to the source material.

Directed by Joe and Anthony Russo, Avengers: Endgame stars Robert Downey Jr. as Iron Man, Chris Evans as Captain America, Mark Ruffalo as Bruce Banner, Chris Hemsworth as Thor, Scarlett Johansson as Black Widow, Jeremy Renner as Hawkeye, Brie Larson as Captain Marvel, Paul Rudd as Ant-Man, Don Cheadle as War Machine, Karen Gillan as Nebula, Danai Gurira as Okoye and Bradley Cooper as Rocket, with Gwyneth Paltrow Pepper Potts, Jon Favreau as Happy Hogan, Benedict Wong as Wong, Tessa Thompson as Valkyrie and Josh Brolin as Thanos. The film is now available on Digital HD and arrives on Blu-ray and 4K UHD on Aug. 13.
