To say that Avengers: Endgame is one of the most highly anticipated blockbusters of all time would be a bit of an understatement. The film has already sold out more than 4,000 screenings while drawing in more than $120 million in advanced ticket sales, with some third-party sellers auctioning tickets for thousands of dollars in hopes of taking advantage of the high demand. Now, a professional athlete from the National Football League is even offering up game tickets in exchange for tickets to Endgame.Pittsburgh Steelers linebacker Ryan Shazier has offered a fan and two friends the opportunity to catch a Steelers home game of their choice in exchange for three tickets to Endgame, and he doesn't appear to be joking.

"I check just for Avengers: Endgame tickets," he tweeted. "If anyone has 3 Tix for Cinemark North hills XD at 920pm or Waterfront AMC IMAX at 1030pm. I’ll swap you 3 game tickets to any game this season. Hoping for middle of the theatre seats. *DEAD ASS SERIOUS*"

Shazier was drafted by the Steelers in 2014 in the first round and went on to be selected to the Pro Bowl in both 2016 and 2017. However, he suffered a serious spinal injury following a head-on collision in a Monday Night Football game in 2017 against the Cincinnati Bengals. After undergoing a spinal stabilization surgery, Shazier's season was over and he has not played a down in the NFL since. Still, the Steelers have maintained Shazier on their roster, allowing the injured linebacker to accumulate seasons towards his pension and to maintain his medical insurance plan while he continues to rehab his injury.
