When Avengers: Infinity War hit theaters last April, it destroyed the box office with a $258 million opening weekend. Now, the opening weekend for Avengers: Endgame is tracking to beat that record.

Bloomberg predicts the box office for Avengers: Endgame will hit $282 million over its opening weekend. That is $24 million more than Infinity War and $34 million more than Star Wars: The Force Awakens, which currently sits in third place.

To really understand how impressive that number is, the 2018 Marvel Cinematic Universe release Ant-Man and the Wasp finished with a total domestic gross of $216.6 million. The fourth Avengers movie is expected to make $66 million more in one weekend than Ant-Man and the Wasp made in its entire domestic run.

Avengers: Infinity War finished with a total domestic run of $678.8 million, second only to Black Panther. Infinity War also ranks fourth all-time worldwide overall box office with a $2.01 billion take.

The three Avengers movies all rank in the top 10 worldwide, with Black Panther in the ninth position. Past success indicates that this next movie will put four Marvel films in the top 10, as it reportedly concludes the storyline for some beloved superheroes.

The only thing that could hold the numbers down, according to research analysts, is the fact that the movie might check in at over three hours. A longer movie could mean fewer showtimes at theaters.

Avengers: Endgame is the second Marvel Cinematic Universe movie to hit in 2019. Captain Marvel is also expected to end up with a huge box office as well. At the moment, it is expected to hit $120 million domestically, which is between the levels of Spider-Man: Homecoming ($117 million) and Thor: Ragnarok ($120 million). This is especially impressive since those were established heroes, while Captain Marvel is a newcomer to the big screen.

Directed by Joe and Anthony Russo, Avengers: Endgame stars Robert Downey Jr., Josh Brolin, Mark Ruffalo, Tom Hiddleston, Chris Evans, Chris Hemsworth, Jeremy Renner, Chris Pratt, Elizabeth Olsen, Chadwick Boseman, Sebastian Stan, Benedict Cumberbatch, Paul Bettany, Samuel L. Jackson, Cobie Smulders, Benedict Wong, Zoe Saldana, Karen Gillan, Vin Diesel, Dave Bautista, Pom Klementieff, Scarlett Johansson, Tom Holland and Anthony Mackie. The film arrives April 26.
