Avengers: Endgame is set to shatter box office records when it hits theaters in just a few weeks.

Shortly after Captain Marvel blasted past a worldwide box office haul of $1 billion, projections for Avengers: Endgame's opening weekend estimate that the movie may end up being even bigger than its predecessor, last year's Avengers: Infinity War.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, the highly anticipated film is currently on track to open "anywhere from $200-250 million" at the domestic box office. For comparison's sake, Infinity War opened to $257.6 million, a significantly larger haul than its early projections, which estimated the Marvel film earning between $185 million and $225 million.

While Infinity War opened to a record-breaking $640.5 million worldwide, certain analysts estimate that "Endgame could open in the $750 million-$800 million range worldwide, thanks to a day and date debut in China."

Avengers: Endgame's Hulk-sized projections should come as no surprise, given that advanced ticket sales not only crashed various theater websites, but also broke Star Wars: The Force Awakens ticket sales record. Tickets for the Marvel film can even be found on eBay for thousands of dollars.

Directed by Anthony and Joe Russo, Avengers: Endgame stars Robert Downey Jr., Chris Evans, Mark Ruffalo, Chris Hemsworth, Scarlett Johansson, Jeremy Renner, Don Cheadle, Paul Rudd, Brie Larson, Karen Gillan, Danai Gurira, Benedict Wong, Jon Favreau and Bradley Cooper, with Gwyneth Paltrow and Josh Brolin. The film arrives April 26.
