As previously promised, the Avengers: Endgame tickets are finally on sale as of this Tuesday. Marvel made the official announcement by releasing a new 'first look' trailer that offered plenty of new footage from the film to crank up the levels of excitement.

Now, following the release of the trailer, Marvel has unveiled a new poster for the film's IMAX release.

The new poster brings the main characters of the film -- those that were left standing following Thanos' devastating, Infinity-powered snap -- together, front and center. Even more surprising is the addition of Doctor Strange's assistant Wong, who wasn't featured on previous Endgame posters.

But what's even more striking is the addition of all of the fallen superheroes above them, who flank the looming threat of the ever menacing Mad Titan. Every fallen Avenger is featured on the poster, from those who disappeared during the snap like Star-Lord, Spider-Man, Black Panther and his sister Shuri, to those who died earlier in Avengers: Infinity War, the Asgardian god of mischief Loki and Thanos' daughter, Gamora.

Avengers: Endgame was filmed with IMAX camera, and the special release promises to feature a format that is 26% bigger than regular cinema screens to offer fans the best possible way to experience the final film in the Marvel Cinematic Universe's sprawling Phase 3.

In fact, the directors of the film, Joe and Anthony Russo, truly believe that fans need to see the film in IMAX. "It just made sense to us that the grandest cinematic event in Marvel history should be executed in full IMAX," Joe Russo said, in an IMAX video featurette. "The level of ambition for this film is pretty high. We needed equipment that could help us fulfill that ambition."

"The IMAX screen has a different height than a traditional movie screen. Having that extra verticality gives us a wider range of how we frame and how we shoot these characters," Anthony Russo added. "As filmmakers, it's an amazing tool for us. The way that it captures light. The way that it captures color. They are fantastic cameras."
