As soon as the film opened, Marvel Studios' highly anticipated Avengers: Endgame broke all kinds of records. It became the first movie to gross $1.2 billion worldwide in its opening weekend, it had the biggest domestic and international debuts ever and it has now become the most successful foreign film ever in China.

Now, the highly successful film has just beaten another record: Avengers: Endgame is officially the most Tweeted-about film in Twitter history.

On Thursday, Twitter made the announcement, revealing that there were more than 50 million tweets about the film. The social media platform then revealed a top ten list of the most talked-about characters from the film, starting with Thanos in the number one spot, who was followed by Thor, Iron Man, Captain America and the Hulk, respectively.

Twitter also shared a top ten list of the countries that tweeted about the film the most, with the United States, Brazil and the Philippines claiming the top three spots.

Avengers: Endgame earned the extremely rare CinemaScore of A+, and fans are returning for 85% more repeat viewings than they did for Avengers: Infinity War.
