Avengers: Endgame LEGO Set Reveals a Massive Upgrade for War Machine

Avengers Infinity War War Machine

Since Marvel is keeping any and all details pertaining to Avengers: Endgame close to the chest, fans are left to scavenge promotional material to try and figure out the big secrets of the highly-anticipated film. Thankfully, some answers might be found in various toy releases that have started to pop up in specialty stores.

For instance, thanks to a new Avengers: Endgame LEGO set, we might have discovered a pretty big spoiler about the film: Colonel James 'Rhodey' Rhodes' War Machine will be getting a brand new, highly-upgraded suit.

The box art of the LEGO set features a giant War Machine armor. Rhodey's new suit seems to borrow quite a bit of elements from Avengers: Age of Ultron and Infinity War's Hulkbuster, but the armor appears to be much bigger -- nearly mech-sized.

It's also important to note that, on the box art, the War Machine giant armor appears to be battling Outriders, whom we have not seen so far in promotional material from Endgame.

This wouldn't be the first time that LEGO sets have revealed spoilers from a Marvel movie. In fact, before the release of 2016's Captain America: Civil War, a LEGO box set revealed that Scott Lang would transform into Giant-Man during the airport battle sequence.

The revelation of this new War Machine armor is only the latest in a series of toy reveals that have informed the plot of Avengers: Endgame, from Quantum suits to Thanos' new armor. However, it's important to remember that all of these toys could be just that, toys, and nothing more. In fact, directors Joe and Anthony Russo recently went on record to state that 99% of the Endgame toys leaks were inaccurate.

Then again, the Russo brothers have already proven that they are willing to lie and mislead fans in order to preserve their movie's big twists and turns. Therefore, they could be purposefully trying to mislead us once again -- which means that Rhodes will actually suit up in a mech-sized armor in Endgame.
