The newest mini-trailer for Avengers: Endgame treated fans to a touching moment between Captain America and Iron Man. In the scene, Steve Rogers affirms that he trusts Tony Stark, despite their tumultuous history. However, that scene might not actually be in the final film.

In an interview with Fox 5, Joe and Anthony Russo were asked about the scene. Joe then said, "that scene actually isn't in the movie," going on to remind everyone that certain things are shot to manipulate perception and "obfuscate" the actual details of the film. When the stunned interviewer asked if Russo was serious, Russo replied with a cheeky, "am I joking?" Anthony then moved the conversation along.
