Iron Man's New Avengers: Endgame Armor Possibly Spoiled by LEGO

It may just be a 1.5 inch Minifigure, but it looks like LEGO's newest promotional figure of Iron Man may have spoiled the Mark 85 suit for Avengers: End Game.

This isn't the first time an errant image spoiled the Mark 85 armor for the film. In September, a pixellated image of the armor used in the upcoming movie teased the prospect of a cinematic Mark 85, and the Lego Minifigure pretty much confirms it.

While the leak confirms the presence of the Mark 85 suit from the comics, there have yet to be any official photos from the film. That said, this is the first tangible evidence of what Stark will be wearing when he fights to fix Thanos' culling of half the universe.

The use of the Mark 85 is a pretty big jump from the nanotech/Bleeding Edge (Mark 50) suit Stark wore in Avengers: Infinity War. It's unlikely the sequel will feature all the suits that came between, but with the release of this new LEGO Minifig, it seems likely Mark 85 will feature heavily in the movie.

LEGO's leak didn't just spoil Stark's latest and greatest version of armor for Endgame; the company also teased the likelihood of three other familiar suits. Thanks to a popular Instagram user who regularly posts early information on LEGO releases, the Mark 1, Mark 5 and Mark 41 suits are expected to make an appearance.

Iron Man's Mark 85 armor first appeared in the comics, and while the suit is far more advanced than its predecessors, it's appearance is more closely related to the Mark II suit from the source material.

Directed by Joe and Anthony Russo, Avengers: Endgame stars Robert Downey Jr., Josh Brolin, Mark Ruffalo, Tom Hiddleston, Chris Evans, Chris Hemsworth, Jeremy Renner, Chris Pratt, Elizabeth Olsen, Chadwick Boseman, Sebastian Stan, Benedict Cumberbatch, Paul Bettany, Samuel L.
