As the release of Avengers: Endgame comes ever closer, there is still so very little we know about the actual film. The second full-length trailer arrived last week, and even that trailer played things pretty close to the chest. Outside of a few new shots of the characters we already know will be in the film, we still have no clue what they will up to, or how they will hope to defeat Thanos and undo his reality-altering finger snap.
While fans are desperate to find new details about the film, one has finally surfaced thanks to the release of a new international banner for Avengers: Endgame. The banner, which came from the Hong Kong Avengers Fans Club Facebook page, features all of the main cast: Iron Man, Captain America, Black Widow, Bruce Banner, Rocket, Nebula, Thor, Okoye, Captain Marvel, War Machine, Ant-Man, Ronin -- all of the characters who were left standing following Thanos' finger snap -- and of course, the Mad Titan himself.
The banner also reveals that something else from Avengers: Infinity War will make a return: the Hulkbuster suit. The massive Iron Man armor can be seen standing behind Bruce Banner, who piloted the armor during Infinity War's massive battle in Wakanda. This would indicate that the armor will once again be featured in Endgame.
This is actually the first confirmation that the Hulkbuster armor will return. Even more notable is the fact it appears to be in pristine condition -- something which leads to a whole lot of questions. When Infinity War ended, the armor was severely damaged. Does this mean that the armor will be restored in the film? With Tony Stark off-planet, can Bruce Banner fix the suit on his own? Will Tony fix it after he comes back to Earth? Or, with so many rumors theorizing that the Avengers will go back in time to defeat Thanos, is this another hint that some form of time travel will be involved in the film's storyline?
Directed by Anthony and Joe Russo, Avengers: Endgame stars Robert Downey Jr., Chris Evans, Mark Ruffalo, Chris Hemsworth, Scarlett Johansson, Jeremy Renner, Don Cheadle, Paul Rudd, Brie Larson, Karen Gillan, Danai Gurira, Benedict Wong, Jon Favreau and Bradley Cooper, with Gwyneth Paltrow and Josh Brolin. The film arrives April 26.
