In a little under two months, Avengers: Endgame opens in theaters everywhere, and a new IMAX trailer reveals how much bigger the special screenings are in comparison to standard theatrical presentations.

IMAX released a side-by-side look at the film's first trailer, showing that the IMAX presentation features up to 26% more picture in the frame than regular theatrical aspect ratios.

Endgame is the second Hollywood movie filmed entirely using IMAX cameras, the first being last year's Avengers: Infinity War which was also directed by Joe and Anthony Russo.

Boasting larger aspect ratios with higher visual resolution, IMAX has become an increasingly widespread format for major Hollywood productions and proves more and more popular with movie-going audiences. The popularity of Venom and Aquaman IMAX screenings boosted the format's box office earnings beyond initial projections for last year, with the company hoping for a similar performance from Endgame next month.

Directed by Joe and Anthony Russo, Avengers: Endgame stars Robert Downey Jr., Josh Brolin, Mark Ruffalo, Tom Hiddleston, Chris Evans, Chris Hemsworth, Jeremy Renner, Chris Pratt, Elizabeth Olsen, Chadwick Boseman, Sebastian Stan, Benedict Cumberbatch, Paul Bettany, Samuel L. Jackson, Cobie Smulders, Benedict Wong, Zoe Saldana, Karen Gillan, Vin Diesel, Dave Bautista, Pom Klementieff, Scarlett Johansson, Tom Holland and Anthony Mackie. The film arrives April 26.
