The last scene in Avengers: Endgame showed all of the Marvel Cinematic Universe's heroes gathered at Tony Stark's funeral. Tom Holland, star of the upcoming Spider-Man: Far From Home, revealed earlier this year that he was told they'd be filming Stark's wedding during this scene. While it isn't surprising the directors would tell Holland this, considering he is notorious for revealing spoilers, other cast members thought it was a wedding scene as well.Mark Ruffalo, who plays the Hulk, posted behind-the-scenes images from the funeral scene on Twitter. "Weâre filming a wedding, they said," he wrote. The images show much of the MCU cast, all looking to be in high spirits. Holland posted a similar view of the scene on his Instagram.
Marvel Studios has always been careful to not reveal anything about their upcoming films, which sometimes means keeping their cast members in the dark.
