In the past four years, the Marvel Cinematic Universe has leaned more heavily into the cosmic characters and stories of the Marvel Universe with a new piece of Avengers: Endgame fan art imagining a supremely omnipotent addition to the MCU.

Popular digital artist Bosslogic shared a piece of original fan art on his Instagram account imagining Eternity joining the MCU in all the entity's cosmic glory.

First created by Stan Lee and Steve Ditko in 1965's Strange Tales #138, the character was first encountered by Doctor Strange as an omnipotent being defending all of the Marvel Multiverse from tampering by fellow cosmic beings including the Celestials.

Given lingering rumors that the Celestials may figure prominently in Endgame and filmmaker Scott Derrickson reportedly signing on to direct a sequel to 2016's Doctor Strange, Eternity's introduction into the MCU is likely just a matter of time.
