Marvel Studios is counting down to the release of Avengers: Endgame with a brooding new promo.
Posted on the Marvel Studios Twitter, the promo uses footage from previous Endgame trailers. Featuring Chris Evans' Captain America, Scarlett Johansson's Black Widow and Robert Downey Jr.'s Iron Man, the short promo hones in on three of the Marvel Cinematic Universe's biggest names while glossing them in Endgame's purple glow.
Following a series of 32 posters honoring the heroes of Infinity War and those who fell during "The Decimation," the latest promo reminds audiences that there's just a matter of weeks until Endgame hits theaters. The countdown promo and posters join a new featurette video titled "We Lost." Exploring life after Thanos' big snap, the video discusses the status of the various Avengers after the game-changing events of Infinity War. With Avengers: Endgame tipped to have a three-hour runtime, rest assured that more than just Captain America, Black Widow and Iron Man will get their time to shine.
It's unclear whether there will be any more surprises coming during Endgame's one-month countdown, but fans should keep their eyes peeled for more surprises along the way. Either way, the Russo Brothers are setting the scene for the future of the MCU and concluding what is now referred to as the Infinity Saga.
Directed by Anthony and Joe Russo, Avengers: Endgame stars Robert Downey Jr., Chris Evans, Mark Ruffalo, Chris Hemsworth, Scarlett Johansson, Jeremy Renner, Don Cheadle, Paul Rudd, Brie Larson, Karen Gillan, Danai Gurira, Benedict Wong, Jon Favreau and Bradley Cooper, with Gwyneth Paltrow and Josh Brolin. The film arrives April 26.
