After months of unofficial pieces of concept art and glimpses in teaser trailers, the Avengers: Endgame costumes for the Marvel Cinematic Universe's biggest heroes have been officially revealed in a new image.

The image of the six original Avengers was released today on popcorn maker Orville Redenbacher's website as part of a promotion that ties in with the upcoming Marvel Studios film.

The image offers up our first truly clear glimpse of how Captain America, Iron Man, Thor, Black Widow, Hulk and Hawkeye/Ronin will look in the wake of Thanos' devastating attack in Avengers: Infinity War and seemingly confirm the veracity of several images that were leaked earlier.

Two of the costumes borrow new elements from the Avengers' iconic comic book costumes.Chris Evans' Captain America wears a costume the combines design elements from his uniforms in Avengers: Age of Ultron and Captain America: Civil War with a chainmail-like pattern from his classic look. Similarly, Robert Downey Jr.'s Iron Man wears a sleek red-and-gold armor that's reminiscent of his traditional comic book armor.

Chris Hemsworth's Thor and Scarlett Johansson's Black Widow are more or less in slightly tweaked versions of their usual MCU costumes. Thor stands on the far left of the image with his new hammer, Stormbreaker, wearing a cape with his usual Asgardian armor. Black Widow has her signature red hair pulled back into a ponytail. While it could just be a watch, she also appears to have a disc on her left wrist, which could be one of the devices glimpsed in numerous set photos.

Jeremy Renner's Hawkeye and Mark Ruffalo's Hulk seem to have had the most drastic costume changes. The Avengers' resident archer appears to be leaning into his Ronin persona with an all-black uniform and black bows and arrows.

Meanwhile, the Hulk dons a full bodysuit that mixes his signature purple garments with sleek black design elements. From the image, it also looks like Ruffalo's facial features are more prominent in this version of the Hulk, which could mean that he has a greater degree of control over the Jade Giant.
