To prepare for the rapidly approaching release of the highly anticipated Avengers: Endgame, Marvel has been showcasing multiple movie posters created by talented artists.On Monday, Marvel unveiled the latest in its artist series line of posters. The artwork, created by designer and illustrator Chris Malbon, is an energetic and colorful piece featuring the film's cast of superheroes taking the fight to the Mad Titan, Thanos, in the cosmos.
But more than that, the poster features Earth's Mightiest Heroes contemplating their legacy. The fight depicted on the artwork may be taking place in space, but the original Avengers, as well as Ant-Man and Captain Marvel, are standing on the Avengers logo, indicating that no matter who falls in the film, the Avengers will remain.
Avengers: Endgame is billed as the culmination of a saga that is been unfolding ever since the first Iron Man film, and it is rumored to be the final film for some of the original Avengers.
Directed by Joe and Anthony Russo, Avengers: Endgame stars Robert Downey Jr. as Iron Man, Chris Evans as Captain America, Mark Ruffalo as Bruce Banner, Chris Hemsworth as Thor, Scarlett Johansson as Black Widow, Jeremy Renner as Hawkeye, Brie Larson as Captain Marvel, Paul Rudd as Ant-Man, Don Cheadle as War Machine, Karen Gillan as Nebula, Danai Gurira as Okoye and Bradley Cooper as Rocket, with Gwyneth Paltrow Pepper Potts, Jon Favreau as Happy Hogan, Benedict Wong as Wong, Tessa Thompson as Valkyrie and Josh Brolin as Thanos. The film opens Friday worldwide.
