Concept artist Jackson Sze celebrated Avengers: Endgame's Oscar nomination by revealing some unseen concept art for Thor allies Korg and Miek in the final battle.
"Congratulations to Avengers Endgame for its VFX OSCAR nomination!" Sze wrote on Instagram. "When pitching ideas for the end battle I thought it would be cool to highlight the Creature Avengers in one image. Korg and Miek designed by the talented Tully Summers for Thor: Ragnarok."
Sze has taken Summer's Thor: Ragnarok designs and translated them into the world and environment of Endgame. Miek is seen in his new armor equipped with blades ready to take on Thanos' army. Korg, on the other hand, is in a fully-armored suit with a purple cape, fending Miek away some of the soldiers. Close-ups of the duo illustrate even more details in the action scenes.
The fan-favorite duo became popular after appearing in 2017's Ragnarok. Taika Waititi will reprise his role as Korg in the Ragnarok sequel Thor: Love and Thunder.
