Newly revealed concept art shows a very different look for Brie Larson's Captain Marvel that nearly made it into Avengers: Endgame.Marvel Studios' Director of Visual Development and concept artist Andy Park took to Twitter to reveal the unused design, which shows Carol Danvers sporting a very different helmet than the one she wore in her solo film. This alternate helmet is primarily blue with red and yellow highlights. It also features a much wider opening at the top than the original helmet, which allows part of her hair to come out in a mohawk.
The concept art sees Captain Marvel in action alongside Scarlet Witch, Wasp, Gamora, Valkyrie, Mantis and Nakia, who at one point was planned to appear in the film's final battle.
