The ending to Avengers: Endgame seems to be as much a mystery to the cast as it is to the fans.
Chris Hemsworth appeared on The Ellen Show to discuss the film and claimed to not know if Thor survives until the end. He told Ellen, “It’s funny, I feel like a fan of this whole thing as much as anyone else, and I’m interested to see if I live or die or what happens to me [laughs]. I have a rough idea of what happens, but no, I have not seen the film and I really do not know how it ends.”
The cast of Avengers: Endgame are currently doing their press tour, which can prove to be difficult when they aren't able to share much about the film. Hemsworth went on to tell Ellen, "We’ve been doing the press tour and everyone’s like, ‘Tell us about the movie,’ and we’re like, ‘We can’t.’ Can’t tell you anything."
Hemsworth claimed that he'd like to keep playing Thor in the future, if he survives Endgame. The 35-year-old actor will also be starring in Men In Black: International with Thor: Ragnarok co-star Tessa Thompson.
Directed by Anthony and Joe Russo, Avengers: Endgame stars Robert Downey Jr., Chris Evans, Mark Ruffalo, Chris Hemsworth, Scarlett Johansson, Jeremy Renner, Don Cheadle, Paul Rudd, Brie Larson, Karen Gillan, Danai Gurira, Benedict Wong, Jon Favreau and Bradley Cooper, with Gwyneth Paltrow and Josh Brolin. The film arrives April 26.
