Avengers: Endgame Is Already Breaking Box Office Records in China

Avengers: Endgame is already shattering records, this time by surpassing the record for the biggest opening day in Chinese history.

According to Variety, Endgame surpassed $100 million on its opening day in China. If the film continues on this streak, it will become the biggest Hollywood title ever in the Middle Kingdom. It also surpassed China's record for pre-sales, exceeding $15 million, and accounted for  99 percent of Wednesday's movie ticket sales.
