There is a lot going on in Avengers: Endgame, to put it mildly, and with all of the interpersonal drama and Infinity Stone-related conflict, many fans might have missed what could potentially be a pretty important Easter egg.

When Steve Rogers and Tony Stark travel back in time to the 1970s to retrieve the Tesseract, Steve catches a glimpse of Peggy Carter through a window with partially open blinds. Those who have seen the movie were probably too overcome with Steggy feelings to pay much attention to what Agent Carter was saying, but it could be an important hint about the future of the MCU in Phase 4.

In the scene, Peggy mentions an agent “Braddock” who “hasn’t checked in," and there’s now speculation that this could be a reference to Brian Braddock, aka Captain Britain. Of course, with this being the '70s, the person mentioned could be Brian or possibly his father.

While we don’t know for sure that this namedrop is a reference to the superhero, Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige has said he’d like to introduce Captain Britain to the MCU at some point. Plus, as we’ve seen time and time again, MCU movies don’t typically drop names and hints like this unless they’re ultimately leading up to something.
