Closing out the Infinity Saga of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, Avengers: Endgame is full of many emotional moments. However, fewer are more poignant than the funeral of Tony Stark at the end of the film. Taking place at Tony's lakeside home, the funeral features many major MCU characters, including Pepper Potts, Morgan Stark, the surviving Avengers and Guardians of the Galaxy and most of their respective supporting casts.
Nebula actor Karen Gillan shared a behind-the-scenes photo from the sequence on her Twitter account that gathers together the massive cast. In addition to the assembled actors, directors Joe and Anthony Russo and Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige, in addition to other members of the crew, can be seen in the group shot.
As the first MCU superhero and founding member of the Avengers, Robert Downey, Jr.'s portrayal of Tony Stark was an immensely influential one on the creation of the MCU with his character's death already shaping up to affect the MCU as seen in the latest trailer for Spider-Man: Far From Home.
Directed by Joe and Anthony Russo, Avengers: Endgame stars Robert Downey Jr. as Iron Man, Chris Evans as Captain America, Mark Ruffalo as Bruce Banner, Chris Hemsworth as Thor, Scarlett Johansson as Black Widow, Jeremy Renner as Hawkeye, Brie Larson as Captain Marvel, Paul Rudd as Ant-Man, Don Cheadle as War Machine, Karen Gillan as Nebula, Danai Gurira as Okoye and Bradley Cooper as Rocket, with Gwyneth Paltrow Pepper Potts, Jon Favreau as Happy Hogan, Benedict Wong as Wong, Tessa Thompson as Valkyrie and Josh Brolin as Thanos. The film is in theaters now.
