Already the fastest film to earn $1 billion at the worldwide box office, Avengers: Endgame doesn't appear to be losing any momentum as it enters its second weekend in theaters.

Endgame is expected to cross the $2 billion mark at the combined global box office by the end of business on Saturday, making it only the fifth film to ever reach the box office milestone and easily the fastest film to do so in cinematic history.

The film currently has earned $1.78 billion worldwide, not counting final domestic box office totals for today or how much the film earned today in China, with industry analysts predicting around $35 million earned once final Chinese totals come in.

Now the fifth highest earning film of all time after passing Jurassic World's lifetime total, Endgame will likely end its theatrical run as one of the highest-earning films in the entire history of cinema.
