Few movies have been as shrouded in mystery as Avengers: Endgame. Marvel Studios have seemed to do everything they can to prevent much from being known about the movie, including leaving major plot points out of the trailers. They've even prevented spoiler-prone Tom Holland from reading the script.

None of this has stopped people from guessing what will happen in the film. The internet has come up with many interesting theories about how everything will play out, including time travel, Skrulls involvement, and an one about Ant-Man defeating Thanos in a very unconventional manner.

Despite the multitude of theories out there, Avengers: Endgame directors, Anthony and Joe Russo, have claimed that no one has guessed the film's ending.

"The fans are so passionate and they spend such a long time living with these characters, thinking about these characters, and they're using their imaginations to follow where these stories could possibly go," Anthony Russo told CinemaBlend. Sometimes they're wildly off, sometimes they're kinda next door to what might happen. Here's the thing, nothing's ever that close. You can get kinda close, but it's never exactly."

Joe Russo went on to say, "Our mission's always to surprise people. So we try to make really surprising choices."
