"The idea is that Tony Stark has come to the D23 Expo to showcase the global Avengers Initiative, which is the Avengers Campus in Disneyland California and the campus in Disneyland Paris, as well as his partnerships with the Worldwide Engineering Brigade and Pym Technologies," Walt Disney Imagineering Creative Director Caroline May said at the D23 Expo in August 2019. The company also stated the attraction will allow guests to "become part of an interconnected, global story that spans from California to Paris to Hong Kong with the Avengers recruiting new extraordinary people to join them."

Perhaps most notably, Avengers Campus will be home to Disney's first Spider-Man ride, the Worldwide Engineering Brigade, aka WEB, in which guests will ride the "Web Slinger" vehicle and "sling webs" as they catch escaping Spider-Bots.
