Avengers, Batman 3, Whiteout: August 27th Comic Reel

Jon Favreau spoke with Ireland Online (via Comic Book Movie) about the film, which is odd as "The Avengers" has no director attached. While he is worried mxing the various characters into one film could sink the ship, he also says, "'The Avengers' might be the thing that helps rescue us from the inevitable sequel slump that you get into, because you're throwing everything on its ear."

Starring Robert Downey Jr., release date: May 4th, 2012

It set the Internet ablaze yesterday, so here is a brief mention of the whole Megan Fox/Catwoman thing. While Paul Pope's new graphic novel is still ... sometime away, the project has already been optioned and "Watchmen" screenwriter Alex Tse is working on the script. He tells ScriptPHD, "I think the novel is getting released next year. I'm not sure what percentage [Paul] is done with, but it's in the process. So that's been interesting for both of us, but a lot of fun because he's a great guy and really visionary."
