"Avengers: Age of Ultron" was packed with Easter eggs and call forwards to future Marvel movies, specifically 2018's "Black Panther" film. T'Challa's home country Wakanda got a shout out from Bruce Banner in "Ultron" and we even got to see Panther's archenemy Ulysses Klaw come to life via Andy Serkis. 3D set designer Gregory Fangeaux posted concept art on his website that shows that there was initially much more of Black Panther's mythos included in "Age of Ultron."

Wood, whose previous Marvel credits include "Guardians of the Galaxy" and "Thor: The Dark World," posted 3D set designs for a location called "Wakanda mine." It's likely that this set could have been used to show Ultron's search for vibranium, the metal that he used to build a new body for himself. Instead of visiting Wakanda proper, "Age of Ultron" traveled to Johannesburg and fought Klaw off the coast of South Africa.
