For a while now, we’ve known that the still untitled Avengers 4 film was in the midst of reshoots. For the past few weeks, we’ve seen actors officially wrap their filming, like Chris Evans who, a few days ago, bid farewell to the role of Captain America after more than eight years. As we know, the film is set to mark the end of Marvel’s Phase 3 of movies, and it’s meant to be the final film for many of the original Avengers.Well, as they say, all good things must come to an end. Last night, the directors of the film, Joe and Anthony Russo, released a tweet that confirmed that they had officially wrapped on Avengers 4. Therefore, filming is officially done, and they are now ready to go into post-production, where they will polish and put the finishing touches on the film to get it ready for release next year.RELATED: Avengers 4 Toy Description Hints At Greater Threat Than Thanos

The Russo brothers’ tweet was accompanied by a mysterious picture that features a rectangular light. There is actually not much we can theorize from the mysterious picture, given that, for all we know, it could simply be a close-up shot of a filming light. This isn’t the first time the Russos have released puzzling pictures from the set of the film. In fact, the directing brothers have become known for giving fans miniscule teases of what they are working on, challenging their followers to unpack the possible clues withheld in their pictures.

Although filming has now officially wrapped, the actual title of Avengers 4 has yet to be revealed. Now that the directors of the film move to the post-production phase however, the wait might soon be over. After all, the first trailer for the film should be released very soon now... and by then, we will finally be able to theorize as much as we want until the film releases in 2019.
