That could spell the permanent end of the road for the character, but the tiny trailer details spreading across Twitter seem to be keeping fans' hopes alive.

The release date for Avengers: Endgame was moved up a week from its original May 2019 release date, which means audiences will have a slightly shorter wait to find out whether the purported Groot sighting is legitimate.
