Russo Brothers Say Fans Should Be Scared of Avengers 4 Title

All eyes are on Avengers: Infinity War with just a few weeks left before the release, but almost nothing is known about Avengers 4. Not even the film's title.

According to the Russo Brothers, fans should be very afraid of what the movie will eventually be called. It feels kind of unsettling that the title of the fourth Avengers film could actually spoil the ending of Infinity War.

Initially announced in 2014 as Avengers: Infinity War – Part 2, by 2016 the film became known simply as the Untitled Avengers film and Avengers 4. As much as Infinity War is thought to be the massive culmination of the entire Marvel Cinematic Universe, Avengers 4 is expected to bring Phase 3 to an end.

The fourth Avengers film is set to be released on May 3, 2019, but beyond the general cast, nothing is known about the plot, the villains, or even the name of the film. What name would spoil the events of Infinity War, and which name could ultimately scare fans? Secret Invasion? Secret Wars? Fear Itself? We'll have to wait and see.

Directed by Joe and Anthony Russo, Avengers: Infinity War stars Robert Downey Jr., Chris Evans, Chris Hemsworth, Mark Ruffalo, Jeremy Renner, Scarlett Johansson, Paul Bettany, Anthony Mackie, Paul Rudd, Elizabeth Olsen, Tom Holland, Benedict Cumberbatch, Chadwick Boseman, Chris Pratt, Zoe Saldana, Dave Bautista, Bradley Cooper, Vin Diesel, Tom Hiddleston and Josh Brolin, among others. The film hits theaters April 27.
