If one of the stars of Ant-Man and the Wasp is to be believed, next year's Avengers 4 might prove to be even trippier than we had anticipated. Actress Evangeline Lily revealed that the next untitled Avengers film's story is actually quite similar to another big project she worked on, the famous ABC television series LOST.

In an interview with NDTV, the Wasp actress said that there was a bit of overlap between the two projects she worked on. "When I heard about Infinity War [and Avengers 4] and the direction that they’re heading, I did have this moment of realizing, oh, wow, there’s a bit of a déjà vu for me with the LOST franchise," Lily said.

"We are hitting that [LOST] Season 4 space where everything’s about to shift, and you’re about to lose the solid ground underneath you," the actress continued. "And [Ant-Man and the Wasp], of course, will play a part in that." Season 4 of LOST is perhaps most famous for changing the game of the hit ABC show. This is around the time that the series started to unfold on multiple timelines, both present and future. What's more, it even began playing around with the idea of time travel.

Lily seems to be referring to a more metaphorical comparison, in that the Avengers franchise is heading towards a massive shift, but perhaps this will add more fuel to the theories that Avengers 4 will feature elements of time-travel in order to undo Thanos' reality-altering finger snap.
