New photos from the set of Avengers 4 suggest that the film will recreate the iconic Battle of New York from 2012's The Avengers.

Shared by Atlanta Magazine, the behind-the-scenes Avengers 4 photos show a path of destruction. The scene is an almost perfect recreation of the moment from 2012 where Nick Fury warns Tony Stark that a nuclear bomb is on the way to Manhattan.

Back in January, photos seemed to show Chris Evans in his costume from The Avengers. While Cap and the other heroes are missing in action here, the set looks very familiar. Importantly, there is a late model sedan which has the exact same damage done to it as when Iron Man crashed into it in The Avengers. The S.H.I.E.L.D. insignia was also spotted on set in Atlanta last year, which would be unusual for the events of Avengers 4, as the organization has been underground since Captain America: The Winter Soldier.

Theories about the Russo Brother's concluding chapter are swirling after the dramatic events of Avengers: Infinity War wiped out half the galaxy and half of the MCU's biggest names. With big movies like Spider-Man: Homecoming 2 and Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 scheduled for the near future, fans have been left guessing how — not if — the fallen Avengers will get resurrected. The latest set photos from Atlanta further add to the rumors that time travel will be part of Avengers 4.

Directed by Joe and Anthony Russo, Avengers: Infinity War stars Robert Downey Jr., Chris Evans, Chris Hemsworth, Mark Ruffalo, Jeremy Renner, Scarlett Johansson, Anthony Mackie, Paul Rudd, Elizabeth Olsen, Tom Holland, Benedict Cumberbatch, Chadwick Boseman, Chris Pratt, Zoe Saldana, Dave Bautista, Bradley Cooper, Vin Diesel, Tom Hiddleston, and Josh Brolin. The film is in theaters now.
