Marvel Cinematic Universe actor Paul Bettany has shared a photo of himself in his full Vision costume on the Avengers 4 set. Bettany is accompanied by Ryan, presumably a crew member, who sports the hot dog of shame, having been late for work.

There has been much speculation about the fate of Vision in next year's Avengers: Infinity War, as the teaser trailer shows him pinned to the ground by one of Thanos' minions, who attempts to remove the Mind Stone from his forehead. Bettany's post shows Vision with the Mind Stone still in his forehead, which could indicate that Vision survives Avengers: Infinity War -- or that he appears in a flashback sequence.

Several other photos posted by the cast suggest Avengers 4 will feature extensive flashbacks. Previously, Sebastian Stan posted a behind-the-scenes photo in the Tony Stark's Hall of Armors, which was destroyed in Iron Man 3. There have also been reports of a scene set during World War II, a time frame not seen since Captain America: The First Avenger, as well as rumors that Hayley Atwell will return. Since Peggy Carter died in Captain America: Civil War, her rumored involvement would have to take place in a flashback or dream sequence.

The untitled sequel to Avengers: Infinity War will release on May 3, 2019. Directed by Joe and Anthony Russo, Marvel’s Avengers: Infinity War stars Robert Downey Jr., Josh Brolin, Mark Ruffalo, Tom Hiddleston, Chris Evans, Chris Hemsworth, Jeremy Renner, Chris Pratt, Elizabeth Olsen, Sebastian Stan, Benedict Cumberbatch, Paul Bettany, Samuel L. Jackson, Cobie Smulders, Benedict Wong, Zoe Saldana, Karen Gillan, Vin Diesel, Dave Bautista, Pom Klementieff, Scarlett Johansson, Tom Holland and Anthony Mackie. The film opens May 4, 2018.
