Gwyneth Paltrow may have just let slip that her Iron Man 2 co-star Don Cheadle will join her in Avengers 4. In an interview with The Hollywood Reporter, Paltrow discussed her return to acting and her experience on the Avengers 4 set so far, specifically naming Iron Man actor Robert Downey Jr. and, of course, Cheadle.

"I went to Atlanta to do Avengers 4, so I'm in and out for that, and it's weird to go back and forth. We're growing fast, and balls are dropping all the time," she shared. "But honestly, I was on set and thought, 'You sit here for two hours sipping tea, Robert Downey Jr. and Don Cheadle are making me laugh hysterically -- why the hell did I give this up?'"

Paltrow was confirmed to return for Avengers 4 back in August, but this is the first we're hearing that Cheadle will reprise his role as James "Rhodey" Rhodes, aka War Machine, for the film. Cheadle will be one of many Marvel Cinematic Universe stars to turn up in Avengers 4, joining the ranks of Brie Larson (Captain Marvel), Paul Bettany (Vision), Sebastian Stan (Winter Solider) and more.

Directed by Joe and Anthony Russo, Marvel’s Avengers: Infinity War -- the next Avengers film -- stars Robert Downey Jr., Josh Brolin, Mark Ruffalo, Tom Hiddleston, Chris Evans, Chris Hemsworth, Jeremy Renner, Chris Pratt, Elizabeth Olsen, Sebastian Stan, Benedict Cumberbatch, Paul Bettany, Samuel L. Jackson, Cobie Smulders, Benedict Wong, Zoe Saldana, Karen Gillan, Vin Diesel, Dave Bautista, Pom Klementieff, Scarlett Johansson, Tom Holland and Anthony Mackie. The film opens May 4, 2018.
