As Marvel Comics continues its crossover with the popular Battle Royale game Fortnite, the House of Ideas has revealed artist Mark Brooks' wraparound variant cover for Avengers #37, which is slated to hit comic shops next month.
Brooks' cover sees iconic Marvel characters Thor, Storm, Wolverine, Iron Man, Ghost Rider, Black Panther, Groot, Rocket Raccoon, Silver Surfer and Captain Marvel descending from Fortnite's Battle Bus alongside such familiar faces from the game as Renegade Raider, Rust Lord and Galaxy Scout, among others.
Dubbed "Nexus War," Fortnite's current Marvel-centric event is based on writer Donny Cates and artist Nic Klein's current run on Thor. The crossover actually takes place in Marvel's comic book continuity, with the New York-based publisher recently releasing a free digital comic detailing the God of Thunder's time in Fortnite's world set during the events of March's Thor #4. Brooks' wraparound variant is only the latest in a series of Marvel covers inspired by "Nexus War."
Written by Jason Aaron and illustrated by Javier Garron, Avengers #37 goes on sale Oct. 14 from Marvel Comics. The full solicitation information, as well as Matteo Scalera's main cover, can be found below.
