The critically-acclaimed Avatar: The Last Airbender animated series is getting a complete Blu-Ray set this summer.

Set for release in a few short months, the Blu-ray boxset from Nickelodeon will include the entire animated series, in addition a bevy of special features like behind the scenes featurettes and commentary tracks. The set will release first exclusively at Best Buy stores on May 1 before a wide release on June 5. It will retail for $44.99.

The Blu-ray set sports new, original artwork on the cover -- a welcome addition for fans of the show, which aired its last episode in 2008. This release marks the ending's 10th anniversary and the original series' debut on Blu-ray, following the lead of it sequel series, The Legend of Korra, which released on Blu-ray in 2016.

Avatar: The Last Airbender has been released on DVD numerous times since its airing, as well as on streaming services, including a stint on Netflix and Amazon Prime Video.

The series developed a strong fan following for its deep lore, well-developed characters and their adventures. That success led to a critically-panned live-action film from M. Night Shyamalan in 2010 titled The Last Airbender, a sequel series in Korra and a handful of graphic novel follow-ups from Dark Horse Comics.
