There's no doubt Korra would be a formidable adversary against many DC heroes and villains, even those known for their incommensurable power.
10 Green Arrow's Lack Of Super-abilities Makes Him Vulnerable To Korra's Bending
Albeit a top-tier fighter, Green Arrow has no way of defending himself from the power yielded by Korra as the Avatar, whose abilities go beyond mortal capacities. Even if he is an expert marksman, Oliver Queen is only human.
Granted, his peak physical condition and mental strength would allow him to endure a battle against Korra for a long time since he would be able to avoid several hits. In the end, any type of bending would suffice for Green Arrow to succumb to the elemental powers of the Avatar.
9 Black Canary Close Combat Skills Are Not Enough To Defeat Korra's
Black Canary is one of the most skilled martial artists in the DC Universe, but Korra matches her prowess without breaking a sweat. This means one-on-one combat among these two would probably end up in a tie after a fantastic show of skills.
When adding superpowers to the mix, Korra's bending overshadows Black Canary's ultrasonic scream. Even though the Canary Cry would help the DC heroine to slow the Avatar down, in the end, this would only work as a temporary deterrent.
8 Martian Manhunter's Pyrophobia Makes Him An Easy Mark for Korra's Firebending
Victim of very strong PTSD, Martian Manhunter's only fear is fire because it causes him flashbacks of his race's cruel extermination. Unfortunately for J'onn J'onzz, Korra is not only able to control fire, she can also create it, which means she yields his ultimate weakness in her hands.
Even though he is an extremely skilled fighter, Martian Manhunter would not last during a battle against Korra, although he possesses a great array of super-abilities. If Martian Manhunter is not able to control his pyrophobia, not only would the Avatar defeat him, any firebender could try and be successful.
7 Mr. Freeze's Suit Would Be The Only Obstacle Between Him And Korra
Everyone knows Mr. Freeze's powers are all about the cold: his body and mind need below zero temperatures to function. This means high temperatures are his biggest weakness. Because of this, Korra doesn't need to do much more than firebending to end him in combat.
The only obstacle Korra would encounter against Mr. Freeze's is his suit. Even then, said suit would protect this villain only for a while. Once it sustains enough damage to break apart, there would be nothing to stop the Avatar in battle.
6 The Joker Could Break Korra's Spirit, But Not Beat Her
Korra's powers outclass the Joker's human abilities anytime. Even though he can take a beating, there's no doubt she is way stronger than what Joker is used to. Because of this, it would not take much from the Avatar to end this character.
Regardless, while Korra is more powerful than The Joker, this villain could easily play with the Avatar's doubts and fears, just as Zaheer did. Keeping this in mind, it is safe to say that after facing the Joker, Korra would win the fight, but her mental health would be scarred forever.
5 Batman Would Need To Create New Technology To Win Against The Avatar
Everyone loves Batman and he's without a doubt one of the strongest characters in the DC universe, but to put it simply: The Dark Knight doesn't stand a chance against the Avatar. Even though Batman's technology is enough for him to take down any super-powered villain or hero, when it comes to a single battle, he cannot defend himself against the elemental powers of Korra.
Perhaps he would be able to create a weapon to assist him, but a hand-to-hand battle between these characters would end up with Bruce Wayne getting defeated because he is not superpowered.
4 Bizarro Doesn't Have The Proper Set Of Skills To Go Against Korra
Even if Bizarro possesses as much power as Superman, he lacks his common sense and intelligence, which makes him less capable than this superhero. Korra, smart by nature, could take advantage of this situation.
Besides, Bizarro's reversed powers do not seem to be of much help against the Avatar. While flame breath and freeze vision can be easily neutralized by fire and water bending, telescopic and microscopic vision are pretty much useless in combat. This specific set of skills are not especially effective against Korra, who is powerful on her own.
3 Wonder Woman's Fighting Style Puts Her At A Disadvantage Against Bending
Although it would be a very close fight, Avatar Korra would defeat the Princess of Themyscira in battle. Indeed, Diana is not human while Korra is, but Wonder Woman is mostly a melee fighter. This means closeness in combat is basic for her success.
Because of this, Korra's bending powers would give her the upper hand, since she could bend the elements from afar to avoid Wonder Woman's hits. Granted, the Amazonian would endure longer than most foes thanks to some of her skills, but her fighting style would not be in her favor against the Avatar.
2 Superman & Supergirl Cannot Defeat Korra While She Is In The Avatar State
Most people would not believe Korra could defeat a Kryptonian. After all, the extent of their superpowers is a serious matter. While Korra can only control the elements, Kal-El and Kara can even breathe in space. Regardless, thinking like this means underestimating Korra. One must not forget she is not alone. Korra has the Avatar State and when she enters it, she shares the power of all 625 previous Avatars. Most of them have enough strength to match or even beat a member of the Superman Family.
1 Zatanna's Bending Abilities Are Not As Powerful As Korra's
Since Zatanna is one of the most powerful magicians in the DC Universe, a fight between her and Avatar Korra would be more than fair. In fact, she can command the elements in the same way the Avatar does. Regardless, she would end up losing.
Although both women are experts in combat and also able to control elements, Korra's abilities come from her role as the Avatar, a bridge between the spiritual world and the material world. This means her abilities rise from a long line of spiritual work and energy harvesting. This gives Korra the upper hand in a fight with Zatanna.
