A freelance writer for CBR, Matt Amerling is from the Washington, D.C., area and currently lives near the beach in Delaware with his wife and two daughters. A graduate of UMUC, he has formerly written for The Source by Superherostuff.com, and is the author of two books, "The Midknight," and "Forgotten Mile." When not working, Matt spends as much time with his family as possible, goes to the movies, continues to master his talent for making mix tapes and CDs, attempts to catch up on reading the massive stacks of books -- and comics -- swiftly overtaking his shelves, patronizes and works at his local comic shop for hours (much to the dismay of his youngest daughter), and, when not writing for CBR, writes articles for his blog - "The Amerdale Review" - as well as a pop culture blog focusing primarily on movies, named "The Culture Cave," which he and a friend started.
