Captain America Director Makes Avengers Crossover References Sound Subtle

The Captain America: The First Avenger script that actor Stanley Tucci likes so much will be rooted in the same intertwined, evolving stories that audiences have been watching in Iron Man, Iron Man 2 and The Incredible Hulk. Director M. Night Shyamalan contributed to the superhero film genre with Unbreakable, and it turned out to be one of his better efforts in the scheme of things. His new movie Devil kicks off what he hopes will be the Night Chronicles trilogy, however, and the third of those three films could end up using a concept he previously intended to feature in Unbreakable 2.

'Transformers 3' Extra Injured In Indiana

Michael Bay has been pulling off some epic stunts on the set the Transformers 3 recently, but an extra in northwest Indiana was seriously hurt Wednesday, just a day before Chicago filming was scheduled to end. The woman, 24-year-old Gabriela Cedillo, was airlifted to a nearby medical center following the incident in East Chicago.

Rihanna Hits Set Of Hasbro's Battleship Movie

Rihanna can sing. But can she sink your destroyer? She looks like she's going to give it her best shot in the first photos of the R&B recording artist in costume to emerge from the set of Battleship. Director Peter Berg of Hancock fame had already added Wolverine: Origins Cajun Taylor Kitsch and True Blood's Alexander Skarsgård to his cast. Now, he's going to give her a shot at acting as well.

Thomas Jane Intends To Appear In The Walking Dead

AMC's TV series adaptation of The Walking Dead has reportedly already been cleared for a second season, which means there should be lots of episode opportunities ahead for producer/director Frank Darabont to work in a part for his friend and former Mist collaborator Thomas Jane. Jane, meanwhile, is adamant that he wants to get on the show at AMC's earliest convenience.
