The Warriors were Marley's first line of defense in the Attack On Titan universe. Appointed as honorary citizens of their nation's empire for their tireless service, they were Eldian shifters who wielded enormous power.

Over the series' duration, they all have clashed with the Scouts amidst their quest to save Paradis from complete ruin. By identifying the Warriors' most legendary battles, we can better appreciate their contributions (or failures) to their cause. Moreover, we gain a better approximation of how strong they individually are in the overarching story.

10 Porco, Zeke, & Pieck Teamed Up To Defeat Liberio

AOT Attack Titan VS Jaw Titan

When Eren made his move against Willy Tybur, the Warriors were mostly prepared for him. After escaping the trap that Yelena had cleverly devised, Porco, Pieck, and Zeke all bounded into action. The former would have even devoured the Attack Titan if not for Levi's timely intervention.

Although the battle itself was memorable, it was profoundly short. Porco was humiliated by Eren Yeager, Pieck was taken out with a few explosives, and Zeke went down so fast that the Marleyans barely realized what had happened to him.

9 Bertholdt's Second Appearance At Trost Was A Welcome Reckoning

Bertholdt as the Colassal Titan vs cannons in Attack On Titan.

After Eren had spent years training with the Cadet Corps, it was finally time to take the battle to the titans. As if on cue, the Colossal reappeared outside Paradis' walls to make a hole for a second titan invasion.

Since Eren confronted Bertholdt in human form, his capabilities as an ODM user were on display. Moreover, it gave a better idea of the Colossals' power, as both the Garrison and Scout regiments were unable to stop him before he disappeared again.

8 Annie's Fight Against Eren Proved The Worth Of The Female Titan

After Annie obliterated Levi's squad, Eren finally had enough. He turned around to fight the Female Titan since he wanted to ensure she didn't escape justice.

Unfortunately, he was in over his head. Annie's hardening abilities, combined with her superior combat training, were more than sufficient to navigate Eren's clumsy strikes before ripping him from his titan body. If not for the aid of Levi and Mikasa, the Warriors would have been able to return the coordinate to Marley and achieve complete supremacy over the Eldian race.

7 Reiner Took On Scouts & Pure Titans By Himself During His Escape From Paradis

The scouts standing on Reiner and persuading Bertholdt into giving Eren back.

After Reiner defeated Eren, he made a mad dash for the shores of Paradis. Predictably, the Scouts wouldn't let him off so easily. They intercepted him from both directions, with Commander Erwin luring a massive army of pure titans in his direction.

This battle was particularly memorable for a number of reasons. Not only did each of the heroes have a chance to demonstrate their skills, but it also strongly foreshadowed Eren's possession of the Founding Titan in his interaction with Reiner and Dina Fritz after Hannes' death.

6 Reiner's Battle At Shiganshina Showcased The Strength Of Thunder Spears

Mikasa launching the missile into Reiner's mouth.

Mikasa led the Scouts' efforts against Reiner during the reclamation of Shiganshina. The plan was to use two thunder spears in order to dislocate the Armored Titan's jaw, with the third detonating inside his mouth to kill him.

Although one of the attacks missed, Hange surprised everyone with their arrival. Despite being presumed dead after the Colossal Titan's detonation, they created the opening Mikasa needed to finish Reiner off. It was the first combat application of thunder spears and foreshadowed a future battle with the Yeagerists.

5 The Battle At Fort Slava Contrasted Titan Strength With The Modern World

Attack on Titan Season 4 Jaw Armored Titans

Although Paradis was the Warriors' primary target, they had other enemies to address. Once the expedition to the walls had ended, Marley recalled them to deal with other threats, such as the soldiers at Fort Slava.

The Jaw, Beast, and Armored titans collaborated to devastate the enemy military and conquer their fortress with minimal Eldian casualties. However, given the magnitude of the injuries Reiner suffered from an armada's heavy munitions, it became clear that the days of the shifters were numbered.

4 Zeke's Second Fight With Levi Was Visceral & Thrilling

Beast Titan Season 4

Determined to reunite with his half-brother, Zeke fled his Scout captors after incapacitating them with Marleyan wine. Consequently, Levi was forced to contend with his former comrades and catch up with the Beast Titan entirely by himself.

Despite having been familiarized with the captain's techniques, Zeke was still unable to beat him. After cutting down his henchmen, Levi hurled several thunder spears at the Beast's neck that destroyed his vulnerable human body. Although he won the battle, Zeke still managed to escape later on by making a risky gamble on his healing powers.

3 Annie's Fight Against Eren At Trost Illustrated His Adaptability

After exposing Annie as the Female Titan, a battle broke out in the Trost District. Since the Scouts were unprepared for a threat inside the walls, only Eren was capable of taking her down safely.

He performed much more valiantly than in the forest, relying on tenacity and rage to power through Annie's calculated punches. Although she attempted to retreat after realizing the battle was hopeless, Mikasa cut off her fingers before she could scale the walls and make for the safety of the island's outskirts.

2 Armin & Eren Conspired To Defeat Bertholdt

Armin gets injured by the Colossal Titan AOT

Realizing that the Colossal Titan was impossible to defeat by conventional means, Armin had a costly plan that would ensure Paradis' success. He had Eren feign a brutal fall so that Bertholdt would discount him as an active threat and focus his attention elsewhere.

By enduring the Colossal Titan's flames, Armin exhausted Bertholdt's muscles and made it impossible for him to repel Eren after he reappeared. With a single clean stroke, the Colossal Titan was claimed for Eldia and would be used for the battles to come.

1 Levi's First Fight Against Zeke Was A Highlight Of The Series

Levi and Zeke

Zeke had cleverly positioned himself in such a way that the Scouts couldn't escape Shiganshina once they entered. Pure titans blocked their exit in a semi-circular formation, leaving them vulnerable to the boulders that followed.

Heroically, Erwin and the other Scouts sacrificed themselves so that Levi would have a chance to take Zeke out. After closing the distance, the captain skillfully dodged the Beast Titan's attacks while ripping him limb from limb. Although Levi made the villain pay for the lives he had taken, Pieck saved Zeke before justice could meaningfully be served.
