Attack on Titan The Final Season Has Three Parts

Attack on Titan The Final Season is the franchise's fourth season. Produced by MAPPA, the anime covers the "Marley" and "War for Paradis" arcs from the original manga. It takes place four years after the Warrior Unit's defeat on Paradis Island, after the failed mission to reclaim the Founding Titan, when they put the operation on hold. The season also introduces characters Gabi Braun and Falco Grice, young Eldian warriors who seek to inherit Reiner's Armored Titan. Marley plans to invade Paradis to strengthen their military and retrieve the Founding Titan. As this occurs, the Survey Corps attacks their homeland. As the forces go to war, both sides sustain heavy losses, while Gabi and Falco must confront their internal tensions about the "devils" of Paradis. Aware of the global anti-Eldian sentiment resulting Marleyan propaganda, Eren Jaeger attempts to target the world outside Paradis by unleashing millions of Wall Titans to kill everything beyond the island.

The Final Season began airing in Japan on Dec. 7, 2020, with the English dub following on Jan. 10, 2021. Split into three parts, the second part of The Final Season aired at the beginning of this year, with its English release stagged by one month. The third part and ending of Attack on Titan's final season will air sometime in 2023.
